College Boreal finds new director for Nipissing campus

The Nipissing campus of Collège Boréal has found its new director.

Rachel Quesnel, herself a graduate of the college in 1995, has been named the new director, after serving in the position in an interim role since September 2018.

“I am very fortunate to lead Collège Boréal’s Nipissing campus and to be part of a family of services that extends throughout French-speaking Ontario,” Quesnel said. “This provides opportunities to foster economic and cultural development in Nipissing, Timiskaming, Noëlville, and North Bay. Many promising projects are close to my heart.”

Quesnel’s responsibilities as campus director include supervising the campus’ management and development, as well as its training and employability services. She will also help in the development of relations with local and regional partners.

“As interim director of the Nipissing campus since 2018, Rachel Quesnel has been a very dynamic presence in the community and is now well known throughout the Nipissing area,” Brian Vaillancourt, vice-president, Business Development at Collège Boréal said. “We are very happy to know that she will continue to pursue Boréal’s engagement efforts in her permanent position.”
