West Nipissing Council is set to meet virtually tomorrow night with an eye on ironing out the details in the 2020 budget.
“What we have on the agenda is adjustments to the proposed 2020 budget,” Mayor Joanne Savage said. “Unfortunately, council did not adopt the budget and when we were in the process of finalizing the budget, COVID-19 surfaced. Now we are resuming back to regular business and we are going to have those discussions tomorrow night.”
“Staff has been working on adjustments, and there has been a lot done in regards to revenues and expenditures,” she continued. “That on its own will probably take up a lot of discussions.”
