Nipissing West OPP says a passerby got more than they bargained for after passing by a home on Railway Street in Sturgeon Falls in late April.
Police say the pedestrian was walking by the home when a dog came out and ran over and bit the victim. The passerby was treated at the hospital for minor injuries.
As a result of the investigation, a 34-year-old from West Nipissing faces the charge of Owner of Dog – Fail to Prevent Dog from Biting or Attacking a Person.
The accused will appear before court in West Nipissing on September 21.
