Two locals are facing drug trafficking charges after OPP searched a home on King Street in West Nipissing last Thursday (June 6)
The service says drug paraphernalia, cash, drugs suspected to be fentanyl, methamphetamine, opioids and cocaine were seized.
A 42-year-old from West Nipissing and a 32-yaer-old from Garden Village were charged with:
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – three counts
- Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
- Production of anything for use in, production of/trafficking in, schedule I or schedule III substance
Both accused were released and are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on August 3, 2023, in North Bay.
