Nipissing First Nation voters have elected a new chief and council.
Official results were posted online on Monday.
Cathy Bellefeuille will become chief after garnering 391 votes, 37 more than incumbent Scott McLeod.
Seven councillors were also elected. They include:

- Jason Laronde
1477 ballots were declared valid, with about two-thirds cast electronically.
There were 2749 eligible voters.
The new term begins August 1.
