Timiskaming-Cochrane will remain orange at the provincial level.
The NDP’s John Vanthof has unofficially been re-elected to represent our riding at Queen’s Park.
When the dust settled, Vanthof garnered 44% of the vote, with PC Party’s Tory Delaurier coming in second with 37%.
Across the province, Doug Ford and the Progressive Conservatives claimed a third straight majority government with 81 seats.

With 25 seats, the NDP and leader Marit Stiles will serve as official opposition.
The Liberals reclaimed official party status winning 14 seats.
