Anishinabek Nation and Nipissing University partnership

Northern Ontario may have a future in bio-products. Anishinabek Nation Leaders and Nipissing University’s Biomass Innovation Centre have just signed an agreement to research the option of using forestry resources to create bio-fuels such as wood chips. The partnership was made in hopes of turning northern Ontario into a bio-fuel hub. This would create the potential for both community and foreign partnerships with environmentally friendly bio-products from the north.
