Sault Ste. Marie man faces 7 charges

A Sault Ste. Marie man has a mid-December court date for a slew of charges.

West Nipissing OPP says they got a call about a pickup truck that had slammed into a hydro pole on Highway 535 near St. Charles on Sunday.

When police got there they spotted a heavily damaged pick up but no sign of the driver. They found him hiding in a shed that they say he had forced open.

He was treated for minor injuries.
