Liberal Marc G Serre Wins Nickel Belt In Tight Race

Liberal Party of Canada Candidate Marc Serre has won the Nickel Belt Riding over incumbent NDP Candidate Claude Gravelle.  It was a tight race with Serre securing 43% of the vote to Gravelle’s 37.6 %.  The Tories’ Aino Laamanen finished a distant 3^rd  with 16.8 % of the vote while Stuart McCall from the Green Party and Dave Starbuck from the Marxist-Lenenist Party finish in fourth and fifth place respectively. Nationally Justin Trudeau’s Liberal Party has won a Majority Government with the Conservative Party of Canada will be forming the official opposition.
